Privacy Policy

SharpLine ("SharpLine", "we", "us") is a sports prediction and tracking app operated by Jhonry Opinaldo in Idaho, United States. This policy explains what information the SharpLine app and website collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work: your account, the picks and bets you log, and basic technical data. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address and password (stored in hashed form), or the identifier provided when you sign in with Apple or Google; your username, display name, chosen avatar and settings such as time zone and notification preferences.
- Predictions and picks: the predictions you run and save, fan picks, and related results.
- Bets you log: bets you enter yourself for tracking, such as the game, bet type, odds, stake in units and sportsbook name. SharpLine does not connect to your sportsbook accounts and never handles real money for wagering.
- Game Chat: comments and reactions you post, and users you block or report.
- Bet slip images: if you choose to scan a bet slip, the image is sent to our server and to Anthropic's AI service to read the bet details, which are returned to the app for you to review. We do not store the image.
- Messages to support: anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Push notification token and device name, if you allow notifications, so we can send the alerts you turn on.
- Crash and error reports (through Sentry) that include technical details such as device model, operating system, app version and an internal user ID, so we can fix bugs.
- Server logs that our hosting providers keep, such as IP address and request times, for security and reliability.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We never see your payment card details. Apple and RevenueCat (our subscription service) give us information about your subscription status, such as plan, start date and renewal, so the app knows whether to unlock SharpLine Pro.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, health data or browsing history, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
How we use information
- To run the app: your account, predictions, records, bet tracking, Game Chat and leaderboards.
- To send the notifications you turn on, such as game alerts, line moves and weekly recaps.
- To provide SharpLine Pro features to subscribers.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Use.
- To fix bugs and improve the app.
- To respond to your support requests.
What other people can see
Your username, avatar, Game Chat comments and, if you take part, your leaderboard standing and pick record are visible to other SharpLine users. Your email address, logged bets and settings are not shown to other users.
Service providers
We use trusted companies to run SharpLine. They process information only to provide their service to us:

Sports scores, schedules and betting lines come from public data sources. We do not send them your personal information.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, predictions, logged bets, chat content and push tokens from our database. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups or provider logs before it is overwritten, or where we must keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account.
- Notifications: turn alerts on or off in More → Notifications, or in your phone's settings.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.
- Access or correction: email us to request a copy of your information or a correction.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to access, correct, delete or move your data. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.
Age requirement
SharpLine is intended for adults 21 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
